Be a part of something special...
You don't need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work with others is all that we ask. On-site construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers.
Not handy with a hammer? Dangerous with power tools? Perhaps you'd rather build a budget than a bathroom? Are you better at raising money than roofs? Why not volunteer on one of our committees! It takes more than construction volunteers to build a Habitat home. Behind the scenes, volunteers raise money, find property, provide outreach to the community, plan events, select families, and much more. We welcome new members interested in lending their time and talents.
Short on time? One of the easiest ways to help is with a tax-deductible donation. Habitat families rely on your generous support - your contribution can make a difference! There are different types of financial donations, several of which offer significant tax advantages to the donor.
If you’re about to start a remodel or total demolition, here’s a way you can “partner” with Monterey County Habitat for Humanity and create a win – win – win program.
